commit f44cca8b1ee33a13ae5e18d4ee60a137cbaeb854

    Simplify C_STACK_GROWS_DOWNWARD detection

Instead of first defining it to -1 if it's undefined and then checking
whether it has been defined as -1, we simply check if it's undefined.

There seems to be no good reason for the current behaviour.
